Gary Styles

Gary Styles understands that positive role models can significantly impact the lives of our youth.  As a resident of West Oakland for over 44 years, he has mentored many neighborhood youth, helping them to reach their full potentials.  As Head Coach of the One Nation Project for over 5 years, Gary and his teams have won 4 AAU Basketball Tournaments.  Gary truly believes that all youth can achieve greatness by developing character, discipline and integrity.

Gary successfully graduated from St. Mary’s High School (Berkeley, CA). While studying political science at UC Berkeley, Gary decided to pursue a career as a Telecommunications Engineer in the United States Air Force. After serving 8 years in the Armed Forces, he has continued to work in the Information Technology profession for over 20 years.
