George Henderson

Coach Henderson has been an Oakland resident for over 30 years. He is married to Moya Henderson and together, they have 5 children: Akilah, Miah, George, Andrew & Marcus; and 1 grandchild, Justin.
He began coaching 13 years ago and has coached at various levels: CYO, AAU, adult league, recreational and semi professional. His passion for the game led him to establish One Nation Project over 10 years ago.
Coach “H” has coached boys and girls, youth to adults. When they move on from his program he wants them to feel confident that the skills they have learned will help them succeed in life.
“My desire to offer the youth of West Oakland and the surrounding areas a different experience is what inspires me to coach”, explains Coach Henderson. |
